Chad's president 'in control of entire country'
Chad's president claimed his government was in control of the entire country on Wednesday. Local sources said that rebels had been pushed back to about 70 km north of the capital of N'Djamena, after flooding the city Saturday in an attempt to overthrow the government.The fighting forced thousands to flee, most of them going to Kousseri. The U.N. Security Council condemned the fighting and allowed member states to come to the aid of Chad's government. That would mean French troops could use force against the rebels. The embassy staff have helped evacuate about 75 Americans in recent days.
Opinion
It is sad that the government is trying to take total control of the entire country this just shows that there would be more problems and will rise violence in the country. Having the goverment be in total control of the state would just bring fear among the people instead of making the people feel secure. I am glad that it is not like that here in the US. It is sad that there is so much violence in those small countries simply because of power. These countries should allow to be democracy in those small countries instead of having total power.

U.S.: Al Qaeda video shows armed boys in training
The U.S. military said disturbing video that shows masked boys brandishing guns was an al Qaeda in Iraq training and recruiting tool. It is said that Al Qaeda in Iraq wants to poison the next generation of Iraqis. The videos showed many below age 11 being used to produce the next generation of al Qaeda. Masked boys are seen in the tape armed with grenade launchers and pistols. They're standing in front of a black banner hung on a wall, shouting slogans. Another video shows a boy, surrounded by automatic weapons and wearing a suicide vest, according to The Associated Press. The video also indicates that al Qaeda in Iraq was increasingly targeting children and posting propaganda on some of the al Qaeda-affiliated Web sites.
Opinion
This is very dangerous of what is being done to these children especially since they are being taught on how to kill and now they are going to get alot of hatred towards people especially the US. These children are just getting hatred in their hearts and this is very bad for them mentally and spiritually. I think that the US should do something about this since this can affect everybody. It is incredible just seeing what these children are being taught which is to kill.
