Militants Gaining Ground in Pakistan
Muslim extremists are expanding their control of northern Pakistan, challenging the U.S.-backed government of President Gen. Pervez Musharraf and adding to the lands where terrorists allied with Osama bin Laden find refuge. The increased influence of the Islamic radicals was known this week because of the intense fighting between local gunmen and government troops. The government said about 180 people have been killed, mostly militants, in violence including bombings, abductions and shootouts.
Opinion
I think that this is this is very sad that people are now being terrified because of the Muslims trying to control their lands. This is unfair because these muslims are destroying this people's lives and these people just want to live a normal life. I think that the US soldiers should do somthing about this because if not then this is going to get worse. It seems that as we solve problems more problems arise.

5 Million Frozen Pizzas Recalled
General Mills on Thursday recalled about 5 million frozen pizzas sold nationwide under the Totino's and Jeno's labels because of possible E. coli contamination. The problem may have come from pepperoni on pizzas produced at a General Mills plant in Ohio.The voluntary recall covers pizzas containing pepperoni that have been produced since July, when the first of 21 E. coli illnesses under investigation by state and federal authorities emerged. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that eight of the victims have been hospitalized and four developed a type of kidney failur. Symptoms of E. coli can include stomach cramps and diarrhea. People typically are ill for two to five days but can develop complications including kidney failure.
Opinion
This is very bad it seems that people cannot trust restaurants that much nowadays because one never knows what their food is made up off and what the chefs put in their food. I think that people should not eat that much at restaurants and should eat more at home because one also doesn't know how the restaurant kitchne looks like and if the kitchen is clean enough. I poersonally do not each much in restaurants because I know that it is not very healthy and its not vedry trustworthy.
