National:

The phone company who decided to join with apple in the IPhone has now decided to create a new phone plan where parents can control every aspect of their childs phone. From downloads to texts to who they can and cannot call. They can block when people can call and who they text. Also parents can put tracker type devices on their phone so they can call the company and see where the kids are.

Opinion:
This is ridiculous. If you are trusting your child to have a phone then they should be responsible enough to watch what they are doing with internet access and what not. Alot of parents would say their kids need it because they are so young. I see kids 9yrs old with cellphones and im sorry but that is just too young, who are they going to be out with that they need a phone to call mom and dad. I think parents should trust their kids and what they are doing with their phone.

National:
About a week ago the loveable and funny actor Owen Wilson was hospitalized after police recieved a phone call from brother Luke Wilson saying that there was an attempted suicide. Its said that his brother Luke found with his wrists slit and he over dosed on pills. Owen has only said to leave him and his family only in this time of crisis.

Opinion:
This story just really makes me sad because Owen Wilson is such a funny actor and has accomplished alot. Owen could make a whole bunch of people happy but I guess he wasnt happy himself. Its easy for people to put on a mask and pretend alot of the time that they are happy. He made lots of money for his movies but I guess this just goes to show you that money does not make you happy.
