Iran appears "less determined" to develop nuclear weapons than previously thought, US intelligence officials say. Tehran halted its nuclear weapons program in 2003 but is continuing to enrich uranium, a National Intelligence Estimate assessment has concluded. Enriched uranium is used in nuclear bombs but Tehran says the aims of its nuclear activities are peaceful. A senior advisor to President Bush said the report was "positive" but the risk of a nuclear Iran remained "serious". Iran is currently under sanctions from both the UN Security Council, which is demanding the end of uranium enrichment, and unilateral US sanctions.
hmm thats good i suppose. Unless these are the same advisers that told bush that there WERE nuclear weapons in iraq. if that is the case i have a hard time believing it. Because there president is pretty nuts he might actually try to finish the job Hitler started and if that sob did that i'd go after him personally!

he judge who will decide how long Michael Vick stays in prison sentenced two of the fallen NFL star's dogfighting partners to prison on Friday. Purnell Peace, of Virginia Beach was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Quanis Phillips, of Atlanta, Georgia, was sentenced to 21 months. "You may have thought this was sporting, but it was very callous and cruel," U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson told Phillips. Federal sentencing guidelines suggested a year to 18 months. Vick faces the same potential prison time. B.J. Bernstein, a criminal defense attorney in Atlanta, Georgia, said the co-defendants' prison sentence, as well as the judge's remarks, don't bode well for Vick. "It means it's not going to easy for Vick," she said. She noted that although prosecutors recommended sentences at the lower end of the federal guidelines to reward Phillips and Peace for cooperating, the judge sentenced them at the higher range. "If he did that for someone who cooperated, it cannot be good for Vick," Bernstein said. She added that Vick's early surrender and agreement to pay more than $928,000 to care for dogs seized from his property might not help him much. In fact, Bernstein added, Vick could receive a harsher sentence because he did not cooperate and bank-rolled the dogfighting operation.
Hooray its about dang time now if Vick would get his sentencing I'd be a real happy camper. I hope they give Vick a really extreme sentence because he influenced alot of dumb people to start dog fighting.
