From Reds rally in 9th to drop D-Backs

The diamond backs win there season opener and were looking to start the season off on a streak. That streak was brought to and end after “closer” brandon lyon gave up a three run home run in the bottom of the ninth and this caused the diamond back to lose three to two.

This is going ot bee a problem if this continues the diamond backs took a big risk in trading away their closer from last year in Jose valverde this is very upsetting because jose managed to give the d-backs forty saves last season which is huge for a team like the diamond backs who leasd the league in tames won by a point or less. So the diamondbacks need a solid closer

From Bill would create Civil Rights Act silver dollar
Congress is electing to pass a bill that would allow the printing of cions that would honor the civil rights act that got rid of horrible treatment of blacks The bill would direct the U.S. Mint to produce 350,000 $1 coins to be sold beginning in 2014, marking the anniversary of the landmark law's signing in 1964. The Civil Rights Act barred restaurants, hotels and other public places from denying service to blacks and outlawed employment

This cool but I don’t really think that this sort of thing will catch on but it is funny that they are starting to pass legislation now in congress even though they aren’t set to be put on sale until 2014. this is just an example of how long it takes legislation to pass I mean they have to start six years early to just pass something simple like a silver dollar.

From 'Playboy' debuts without nudity in Philippines

Playboy the magazine has been releasseed in the Philippines and the magazine will not feature full on frontal nudity like that found in the us. The reason for the censoring in the extreme influence of the roman catholic church in the philippino government. The chuch says that it would not be able to handle more obsecene images in its country. They church is already having a hard enough time controlling the movie industry. The magazine will still contain the articles of some of the countries greatest writers.

This is crazy that there is still a government out there that still has the ability to censor things such as magazines. The fact that they are also in on censoring the of movies as well. The catholic church really has control and that is a hard thing to find. I wonder how well they are doing there job on this type of subject and why they would still call the magazine playboy even though it does not contain all of the nude photos play boy is famous for.

From Mugabe in biggest battle after losing parliament U.S. Reuters

President Robert Mugabe is fighting to survive the biggest crisis of his 28-year rule after losing control of Zimbabwe's parliament for the first time since taking power after independence. the opposition Movement for Democratic Change said Mugabe had also been defeated in a presidential election last Saturday and should concede defeat. A local newspaper has printed that mugabe has failed to win the majority for the first time in twenty eight years.
This is crazy stuff president mugabe has been controlling the people in Zimbabwe for years. He has many critics but still manages to find ways to win the presidency year after year. And now he has failed to win over the people he has been controlling for twenty eight years. Maybe Africa is finally starting to heads in the right direction. Lets just hope that Zimbabwe does not be come the next Kenya or Somalia
