Recently, a rat’s head was found in Korea’s best selling snack. Nongshim Shrimp Cracker.

Korean people were very shocked and upset by the news. But this wasn’t the end of the shocking story. It was only the beginning.

Someone also found a piece of rusty knife in a can of tuna made by Dongwon. And mold was found in a bowl of instant rice.

Someone also reported finding a green caterpillar in a bowl of instant noodles. A few days ago, a man even found a worm in his bread! The Korea Food and Drug Administration(KFDA) states that  finding of strange substance s in food products

Image of Korea is degrading by this kind of stupid unthinkable accident.

Ridiculous, insane, unacceptable I really hate to admit but Korea food Safety is not trustworthy. This can happen only in very poor country where people do not care about clean and safety. It is really shock and disappointing 

Today many people are concern about the food safety in our country. Eating healthy food is very important for everyone. If we eat bad food we may get sick. The Korean government has to strengthen the food safety rules to protect citizens of Korea.

World’s Safest Country

 

Recently, Janes Information Group in England released a list of safest countries. The group made a study of 235 countries regarding their safety and security so, which is the safest country in the world?

The answer is Vatican! Sweden took second place on the list. The third and fourth are Luxemburg and Monaco. As for England, it took 8th place despite London bombing in 2005. Germany held 15th rank and Swiss took 17th.

On the other hand, the U.S. recorded 22nd. In the country, many crimes and racial issues create insecurity. In Asia, Japan recorded 28th. And it was entitled the safest country in Asia. So, which are the most dangerous countries in the world? The infamous countries Include Israel, Somalia, Sudan, Afghanistan and Republic of Congo.

World’s Safest country this is fascinating information. I cannot believe that United States ranked as 22^nd.  I think because U.S is country that people can bear arms. 2^nd amendment in America gives people right and self-protection against any treat. On the other hand, 2^nd Amendment can be used as crime and dangerous. Right now, 2^nd Amendment in America is hot issue and I hope American people make good decision on gun control.

It is really hard to find safest country in the world. I don’t even know where Vatican is.

Former press Baron Speaks out

 

The name Conrad Black may sound familiar to some. The 63 years old press baron was head of the world’s third-largest media empire. He was convicted in Chicago in the U.S last year for three counts of fraud and one count of obstruction of justice in connection with millions of dollar illegally pocketed

 

Black’s trial received much spotlight in the media last year and he began serving his six-and-a-half-year term at the Coleman minimum-security prison in Florida on March 3.

For the first time, Black recently talked to reporters about his status prison. He announced that he is adjusting well and he will continue fighting to prove his innocent.

 

Black recently finalized his appeal motion with his lawyers and filed it with the higher court in Chicago. Black has long said he considered the prosecution’s case to be weak. Countless people in North America are very curious how this appeal will turn out. The appeal is expected to go before the court in June, and prosecutor’s are due to file their reply next month.

An America judicial system is very interesting. I am in government class and I had

chance to learn about judicial system. To protect one’s innocent, America provides every right to appeal, and defend against prosecution. This is beauty of judicial system in America. Judicial system in America, you have to prove one’s guilty otherwise; hole process of prosecution is meaningless. Some people take an advantage on this process and some don’t. Whatever it is the most crucial part of judicial system in America is to promote people’s fair trial.

Obama’s Church Asks reporters for some respect, privacy

 

The United Church of Christ, the parent denomination of barrack Obama’s church, announced Thursday that it will begin a conversation on racial issues beginning next month in response to sermons by Obama’s pastor that were critical of the U.S.

The leader of Obama’s Church, Trinity United church of Christ, asked favor for respect, and privacy. The media was over exaggerated and it was insulting on church’s image.

The members of Trinity United Church of Christ are going through a very difficult time right now.

I fell very sorry for the pastor. In the past, he made some mistake on his speech but if it weren’t for Obama’s church he would not have any problem with this hot issue. I believe he is another victim of dirty political process. 1^st amendment gives people right to say whatever he or she wants. I don’t think the pastor did not deserve this kind of hardship.
