Apology NOT accepted

On Thursday 8/23/07 Micheal Vick, one of the highest paid football players, pleaded guilty to the dog fighting charges that were brought forth against him. A 19 page indictment was brought to the court house in Richmond, VA where inside it talked about the cruel world of dog fighting. Along with Vick were 3 of his friends that were also invovled in the dog fighting. Vick had purchased a 15 acre home that was surronded so nobody could see inside. Later Vick would bring in American Bulldog Terriers and use them in the dog fighting rings on his property. The dogs that were not up to Vick's standards or lost a fight were shot with a gun. Unfortunatly there is a case of one female Pitt Bull who was wet down and electricuted because the dog was not in mint condition.
Vick's friends pleaded guily in order to recieve a plea bargain. Even Vick's father was quoted as saying "This is Mike's thing. He knows it." Micheal Vick was found guilty and later apologized publicly saying " It was immature and no one should look up to me"
Thank you Micheal for stating the obvious and as some of your fellow teammates and football players have said "A 4 minute apology does not change a thing". Micheal Vick should know that as a football player he is molding and influencing alot of young impressionable kids. The punishment meets with the crime but will Micheal Vick really be punished? We have seen how celebritys are treated and they stay in country club type places and because they arent getting the usual treaments of being a celebrity than that should be enough. I am no where near to being a member of PETA but what Micheal Vick did was wrong and cruel. Im sorry Micheal Vick but apology NOT accepted.

"We're disappointed in whats going on. Its a matter for the Senator and the Senate Republican leadership to address" Press Secratary Scott Stanzel said. Senator Larry Craig was arressted for allegedly soliciting sex in a public restroom, who is losing support from conservatives across the nation. Along with these conservatives the White House is also expressing their disappointment amoung eachother. He later made a statment saying that he was not gay and has never engaged in sexual activites with other men. The people have yet to find out if he will resign or go for a second term.

I think this situation is a pretty plain and simple. The senator should resign because even if there is alligations about something that gross and disgusting arent true he should resign. The fact that he was sitting there tapping his feet which I guess is a code in the mens restroom and flashing his ID around to show who he was is pretty suspicious to me. He has been said to say that he was counting and tapping his feet. Im sorry but when im in a public restroom I do not tap my feet and show the person next to me my ID. This situation is just so weird, the man should resign plain and simple.
