"He's going to make the right decsion, so he should take the uniform off" Earlier this week Pakistans President Gen. Perez Musharraf has decided to resign after negotiations with Pakistans Prime Minister on power sharing. Musharraf was voted at president in 2002 and alot expect the election to have been rigged. This presidential term expires in November and have yet to find out if he will seek a third term. Sharif in 2000 has not been aloud to travel or directly take part in Pakistani politics. Shariff has vowed to use street protests to make sure that Musharraf will not seek a third term.

I think that its a good thing that Gen. Musharraf decided to resign because if there was already alligations that the election was rigged then obviously the people did not want him in the first place.

Taliban militants have released 12 of the 19 south korean hostages held in captivity for more than a month. The first group was three women who were released. A couple hours later 4 women and a man were released in a desert close to Shar Daz. Once again that day four more hostages were freed. These people where part of a christian aid group made of 23 people who were abducted July 19 2007. They ended up executing 2 people and releasing 2. The Taliban has said that they will release the next 4 hostages over the next few days that are located in diffrent locations. South Korea has decided to withdraw its 200 from afganistan. "Still our hearts are broken because two died so we can convey our sympathy to the familys"

This story makes me so happy to hear that they realesed these hostages. It makes me so sad to hear the two people died but it could of been more. I really hope that the Taliban will keep their word when they say that they will realese the other hostages, but I mean can these people really be trusted? I know that theres really nothing that these people can do but I only hope that the Taliban will keep their word and stop the shedding of blood.
