INTERNATIONAL #1

Summary-- There are rumors that al Qaeda's media group is going to realease a video in the next 3 days. This video is supposed to feature Osama bin Laden himself. United States officals are saying that this video is merely propaganda. The Dept. of Homeland Security says that there is no credible information about any immanent threat but the department is "in a period of increased risk."

Opinion-- Why can't we just find this miserable sucm and kill him? This kind of thing will always go on untill we totally exterminate these terrorists. Even if the video is only propaganda isnt that exactly what he wants? He's already succeded in changing all of out lives. We wait in airport lines, there are security checks everywhere. Osama didnt want to wage a war of men and bullets. He wants to change America at its core, and he's succeded

INTERNATIONAL #2

Summary-- According to experts NATO should take on a larger role in anti- narcotics in Afghanistan. There is an 100% increase in opium in the south of Afghanistan. This region now produces 93% of the worlds opium. Much of the funds raised by the sale of this goes directly to the Taliban. The 40,000 NATO soldiers in Afghanistan just aren't enough to keep the country secure and also fight this drug trade.

Opinion-- We free a country from tryants and look what they decide to do for their major export? They sell opium. And this is not a state sponsored sale but one who benifits the ones who we are fighting. NATO only has 40,000 troops there and that is just not enough to accomplish all of the duties the world wants them to do.
