Alex Bellah

National: Mitt Romney

Summary: Mitt Romney won the Michigan Primaries for the Republican Party. He had 39% of the votes and 337,847 votes total. After loosing in the New Hampshire primaries he came from behind to surprise us all. As far as the primaries are going Romney seems to be doing very well. He is stealing the eye of the public. But some major states are still to come and I believe that Rudy will pull form behind and steal the spotlight. Romney has a chance but Rudy has the likely hood of becoming the Republican candidate. I believe though that the minor states Romney will win over but his competition for the major states in Rudy.

Opinion: I believe that Romney is doing a very good job in he primaries, but the major states have not come yet. I believe that he will have a tough time winning against Rudy in the major states. I do not believe that Romney will be the candidate running for president in the 2008 election. He has a good chance but I do not believe that he has a chance against Rudy. Romney just does not have the people behind him like Rudy does. Rudy is very popular and many people agree and like him.

National: Rudy Guiliani

Summary: Rudy Guiliani is in 6th place in over all delegates. He has not yet won any primaries but is said to waiting for the major states to actually really start trying. He is focused on becoming the next President. He has had experience with terrorism, because his city was attacked on 9/11/01. Guiliani is a man who knows what he is talking about and has had more experience with terrorism than probably any other candidate. Guiliani is a two-time mayor of New York City. He was the mayor during the attacks on the twin towers in 2001. He is favored to win the Republican Party by many people. Many people like him and are in favor of him than there are against him.

Opinion: I believe Rudy would make the best president. He is the best candidate out of all the republicans to run in the 2008 election. Many favor him and I do believe that I am one of those favoring him. Rudy has had much more experience in some areas than any of the other candidates. Rudy knows what he is doing when it comes to war of terrorism. I trust him to more than any other candidate to do the right job while in office. I believe that he has the best interest of the people in mind than any other candidate (Republican or Democrat).

Romney wins Florida and it could be interesting.

Rudy might go down in history as one of the worst campaigns ever, we will see tomorrow.
