The Presidential Primary in New Hampshire was really interesting. Many people thought or projected that candidate Obama is going to win in New Hampshire. Yet, Hillary won yesterday in New Hampshire. Many people discussed that there was some kind of “emotional moment” involved in the election. On Monday Hillary had interview and she showed her “emotional side” and her sincerity. “It’s that difficult position that a woman candidate is in,” Clinton said in the interview, which aired Monday. “If you get too emotional, that undercuts you. A man can cry, we know that. Lots of our leaders have cried, but you know a woman, that’s a different kind of dynamic.” Contrary to her assumptions about feminine displays of emotion, Clinton’s response — whether contrived or completely genuine — didn’t seem to hurt. U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, a Clinton supporter, said in a conference call on Wednesday that Clinton’s “moment” was key to her win in New Hampshire. “There was a great emotional connection between women and Hillary.” As a result, News exit polls showed women broke heavily for Clinton over Barack Obama in New Hampshire, with 46 percent going for Clinton and 34 percent backing Obama.

Opinion

This presidential primary is one of the biggest events in U.S. However, people seem to losing their standard by “emotional moment”. I understand that Hillary is great woman who is passionate about what she is doing. However, voters should not change their decision based on “emotional moment”. Voters in New Hampshire probably decided their mind long before Hillary’s interview; nevertheless, after the interview voters have changed their mind. What a silly situation is it? I think voters should be more responsible for what they believe.

The political wire: candidates fan out around nation
Mitt Romney spoke to the press about his strategy and why he thinks he’s going to win Michigan. Candidates have more days ahead. And they are raising money and Mitt Romney is in this thing for the long haul. This is the starting of the season. Mitt Romney thinks that the dynamics of the race are very different then he expected. He expected this to be a race with himself tying to get ahead of the debate front-runner, which was Rudy Giulianit, and that dynamic really does not exist anymore, there is really no big front-runner. Michigan is very important to Mitt Romney. Michigan is a big state. And he has great confidence and hope in Michigan. And Mitt Romney may find major come back momentum from Michigan. He was born in Michigan and grew up in Michigan.

Opinion

I believe each candidate has great confidence in a certain state. I am happy for Mitt Romney that he has great confidence in Michigan. Candidates have more days ahead and they are having hard time to predict who is going to win the presidential primary. Romney said that dynamics of the race are very different then he expected and there is no big front-runner. I think he needs to have patience to just wait and see. Who knows? He may lose in Michigan and there will be no come back for him.

Korea welcome foreign skilled worker

Following is the 11th in a series of articles about President-elect Lee Myung-bak's key policies. The incoming government is expected to be more welcoming to high-quality foreign workers as it seeks to enhance the nation's global competitiveness. Experts anticipate more flexible visa rules and improved living conditions for foreigners under the leadership of Lee Myung-bak. Given the growing number of foreign residents, Lee is also expected to push for measures to help them better adapt to Korean society. During his campaign, Lee stressed the need to change immigration policies so as to attract more diverse, highly-skilled people here, in order to help mitigate the brain drain and to spur economic growth. Lee's government transition team said on Sunday that it will push to revise visa regulations regarding high-quality researchers and professional workers. "The visa system for highly skilled workers from overseas needs to be dramatically changed so that we can at least be on par with Malaysia or Dubai," said the committee during a policy briefing session with the Justice Ministry.

Opinion

Korea is one of the fastest growing economy countries in the world. Limited recourses and limited opportunity have always existed in Korea. Because we do not have any natural resources the Government has always focused on education and as a result, many of Koreans become educated and intelligent. But Korea is over populated and too much competition going on among the Koreans. As a result, we have so many unemployed people around the street. I think Lee’s Idea of welcoming foreign workers is very good but I think he needs to take care of unemployed Korean first.

U.S rains 40,000 pounds of Bombs on Al Qaeda Targets in Northern Iraq
U.S. bombers and jet fighters unleashed 40,000 pounds of explosives during a 10-minute airstrike Thursday, flattening what the military called safe havens for Al Qaeda in Iraq on the southern outskirts of the capital. A military statement said two B-1 bombers and four F-16 fighters dropped the bombs on 40 targets in Arab Jabour in 10 strikes Thirty-eight bombs were dropped within the first 10 minutes, with a total tonnage of 40,000 pounds.

Opinion

This is really crazy. Within the first 10 minutes 40,000 pounds of explosive bomb dropped on the ground. I think it is really amazing. U.S has strong military bombers. No wonder U.S is the strongest nation in the world. Now I know that no other country better not mass with U.S.
