Miss. Burns (Three of Four) My first opinion is really good!

Clinton: Bush ‘Begging’ for Lower Oil Prices is ‘Pathetic’
Summary:
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on Tuesday described President Bush’s efforts in the Middle East to rein in record-high oil prices as “pathetic.” The former first lady took the swipe at Bush during a Democratic debate in Las Vegas, as the president wrapped up a tour of the Middle East. “President Bush is over in the Gulf now begging the Saudis and others to drop the price of oil,” Clinton said. “How pathetic.” “We should have an energy policy right now, putting people to work in green collar jobs as a way to stave off the recession, moving us towards energy independence.” Republican National Committee spokesman Alex Conant said in response: “Senator Clinton is so eager to attack President Bush, she fails to mention that the Clinton Administration did the same thing … What’s really pathetic is Senator Clinton’s willingness to say anything to get elected.”

Opinion:
Wow, she has now room to talk about pathetic. I agree with Mr. Conant, by saying that the former Clinton administration was doing the same. So that makes her married to a pathetic person. I think her comment was rude and unnecessary. President Bush said he planned to discuss with King Abdullah “the fact that oil prices are very high, which is tough on our economy.” There is nothing wrong with what he said. It’s actually his job to discuss and make treaties and deals to help our economy.
That is typical of Sen. Clinton: Open mouth and insert foot. Pres. Bush did not ask for a reduction in oil prices, he asked for an increase in oil production. Rule of Supply and Demand, Economics 101 - we have a low supply right now for the world’s demand, not just the USA. What I think is pathetic is how for a solid year the Democrat-led Congress has run our economy into the ground - almost cost thousands of government workers their jobs with the games they played on the federal budget.

With Race Wide Open, Accusations Fly in South Carolina Republican Contest
Summary:
With a wide-open Republican race and South Carolina known for its hardscrabble politics, it was only a matter of time until accusations of dirty tricks began flying among the GOP candidates The fresh salvo started up Wednesday almost immediately after Mitt Romney’s Michigan primary victory the night before added to his Wyoming win to put him on top of the raw and delegate vote counts and a slight step ahead of rivals John McCain and Mike Huckabee, who have won one state apiece, New Hampshire and Iowa, respectively. While Romney has ceded that he’s unlikely to win South Carolina’s primary on Saturday, predicting a McCain victory instead, Huckabee began circulating a statement accusing Romney backers of smearing him through The Club for Growth — an economic watchdog that has aggressively gone after the former Arkansas governor for raising taxes in his state.
Opinion: Okay so I think the common bickering between is stupid. All that it shows it that they are being childish and immature. The stupid show that they put on just gives the Liberals more reasons to point out errors (I’m not saying that they don’t do the same).

Police Use Pepper Spray on Fans at Australian Open After Racial Slur Allegations
Summary:
The Australian Open erupted in ugly violence last night as police doused tennis fans with capsicum spray. Panic gripped Margaret Court Arena as spectators gasped for air after coming into contact with the spray. Many ran for the exits and the match had to be stopped. Police used the spray to try to subdue fans of Greek player Konstantinos Economidis who became upset when police tried to evict members of their cheer squad. Police believed they were leading racial chanting against Chile's Fernando Gonzalez. Women and children were also hit by the spray. One woman said she had suffered an asthma attack and at least six people, including a mother and her two children, were treated by St John Ambulance for eye soreness and breathing problems. Last year's Open was marred by crowd violence involving Serbian and Croatian fans, and tournament director Craig Tiley had warned there would be "zero tolerance" towards unruly fans. But shocked fans accused the police of being heavy-handed; saying the use of the spray was totally unnecessary.

Opinion:
So wow… these police were really stupid. What they did affected many undeserving people; it could have been a lot worse than it was. I think that officers should thoughtfully plan the punishment before just acting on their personal impulses. This instant reaction was not proper or effective, and cost innocent people.

Good point. She's desparate to separate her husbands policies with W's.

Mudslinging is just part of politics, but usually is not good between same party members.

Dumb police.
