Nicolas Sarkozy, the man they call the hyper-president, moved back into hyper-drive after the new outbreak of riots in the Paris suburbs. Wednesday morning, barely off the plane from a state visit to China, he was at the sick-bed of the police chief badly beaten by a mob on Sunday night. he had talks with the mayor of the troubled suburb of Villiers-le-Bel, followed by Prime Minister Francois Fillon. Then he met the parents of the two teenagers killed in the accident that sparked the troubles. Then, at about 9 am, he had breakfast. Unbelievable amounts of energy and a bottomless belief in his own capacity to solve things are the French president's overriding character-traits. And the current crisis has only added to his productivity.
Wow it must be nice to have such a go getter as a president. Bush on the other hand, well lets just say he likes his vacations. The protest part isn't really cool because its more like an armed riot. I believe that protests should always be peaceful. Be like Ghandi or Martin Luther King do peaceful protests and maybe you'll be remembered forever like them but i can guarantee that you won't succeed or be remembered.
