National: Murder they wrote

Summary: 2 year old was beat to death by her stepfather beat her to death after not saying “please” and “yes sir” when she spoke to him. A body was found in Galveston Bay last month and investigators are still waiting on the DNA results to see if the body matches that of 2 year old Riley Ann Sawyer. Stepfather and Mother were both arrested and waiting trial to see if they are found guilty. Supposedly the little girls mother says she wanted to call an ambulance after things got out of control but her husband told her not to because they both would go to jail after the police saw the wounds on the little girl. They gave Riley over the counter pain meds and when she stopped breathing they performed CPR on her. When they could not revive her they decided to hide the body for a while then dumped it into the Galveston Bay. Riley’s stepfather said he never meant for it to get that out of control and never meant to beat the child to death.

Opinion: No matter what the parents say or stories they tell of what happened, they should both be found guilty and out away for the rest of their lives. They murdered an innocent little baby girl who did not know any better. What they did was wrong and that child should no have been in that home. How could no one suspect something before now? These parents are so guilty and nothing should stop them from being put behind bars! No one deserves to have a second chance after what they did. My heart goes out to those parents and may the Lord be with them because they are headed down a path of misfortune.

International: Missing Girl Update

Summary: A witness has come forward in the Madeline McCann case. This witness has said that he saw the little girl being dragged away by a viscous man near the Portugal border just hours after she had gone missing. Portugal case detectives have come over to the UK to talk with detectives and police over there about this information. Many people have said that they have seen the little girl since she has gone missing but all these sightings have so far not helped or have fallen through. The family has not yet said anything about this yet nut they are still hopeful and praying for their little girl’s safe return home. They just want to have her back.

Opinion: I have been following this story for quite some time now and every time they believe they have another clue it falls through and nothing seems to come out of what they found. This case is still a total mystery and I do continue to pray for Madeline and her family. I pray that whoever has her o has information on Madeline and her where bouts will come forward and help the McCann’s get back their daughter. I believe that people have probably seen the little girl but are to frighten to say anything in fear of that they may be wrong. I hope this witness is telling the truth and that this new information will help in the process of finding Madeline McCann.

National: O.J. Go Away...

Summary: On November 28, 2007 O.J. Simpson pleaded not guilty in court for his heist in Las Vegas this past September. The former…well former of many things…has been held in trial before for the murder of his wife and her boyfriend. He came out of that trial by being found not guilty, even though we all knew he did it. Well this time you can bet he is not going to get off that easy. A court date has been set for April 7, 2008. The three men will be charged with 12 counts over all. Witnesses have accepted lea deals to testify against O.J. in April.

Opinion: We got you now O.J.. You got off easy last time and now you are finally getting what you deserve. O.J. is totally guilty and if he gets off the hook again you better believe that there is going to be major chaos. Saying he didn’t do it has to be the stupidest move ever, especially after witnesses saw you and you were caught on tape. How dumb can he be? I mean you got a get out of jail free card last time and now he goes and pulls a stunt like this…what is he thinking, o that’s right he is NOT! Seriously O.J. you need some serious help and jail will do you some good!

International: Nothing can stop her now

Summary: Miss Ingrid Marie Rivera won Miss Puerto Rico even after her dress had been pepper sprayed. This young lady said that if God could get her through that she can face anything that comes her way in the Miss Universe pageant. The case is still under way on who sprayed her dress but miss Rivera said that she is not going to blame anyone. She is thankful that she won and she is not holding a grudge against anyone. She still has no clue why someone would do this to her.

Opinion: I believe that any woman who would put themselves in a beauty pageant to parade around in outfits is nuts. A person who would drench another contestant dress in pepper spray is seriously mental. I mean you have to be crazy to want to win that bad. I give props to Miss Ingrid Marie Rivera for still going out there and fighting through it. She must seriously be one strong woman to deal with that. To what I know she deserved to win Miss Puerto Rico and good luck to her in the miss Universe pageant. If Miss United States does not win I hope Miss Puerto Rico does. :]
