INTERNATIONAL #1

Summary-- An Egyptian airliner was forced to land today in Istanbul. The plane was in route to Warsaw when technical problems arose and the plane needed to make an emerggency landing. When the pilots tried to lower the landing gear the gear would not lower so the aircraft was forced to belly land. On landing the plane caught fire. None of the 133 persons were injured. Nothing else has been disclosed.

Opinion-- Its never a good thing when you have to belly land an aircraft. im guessing that the friction from the runway either tore off an engine or it burned through a fuel line in the underside of the plane. Obviously the technical problems c0ntributed to the failure of the landing gear. Well this is just another day in modern avaition.

INTERNATIONAL #2

Summary-- The African nation of Gambia has detained two human rights workers and a local journalist. The three were detained on the suspicion of spying. The two Amnstey workers entered the country legally and informed the Gambian gov't of their intentions. The Gambin president Yahya Jammeth is becoming intollerent of critism and is isolating is country.

Opinion-- Who really cares about this tiny african country? What would the two human rights workers want to spy on. What is there to spy on? Why would this idiot detain these people for? this might be the last time the he gets aid to his county. Time to go feed critters.
