Russian reporter's killer 'known'

Investigators know who pulled the trigger but still have not determined who ordered the killing of journalist Anna Politkovskaya.Politkovskaya, whose persistent reporting of atrocities against civilians in Chechnya had angered the Kremlin but won her international acclaim, was gunned down in the entryway of her Moscow apartment building on October 7, 2006. investigator in the case, said the murder was political and may have parallels to the 2004 killing of Paul Klebnikov. The suspects' arrests were announced in August by Chaika, who said Politkovskaya's murder was organized by a Chechen criminal group in Moscow that specialized in contract killings and that among the suspects were five law enforcement officers accused of tracking her and providing her killers with information.

opinion
the woman is innocent, killed by someone who noone knows. if they know who pulled the trigger then they should know who ordered it from the shooter? this article gives me little bit of mystery. they should gather more information and try to solve this case. i think this will take longer than everyone expected because no one knows who ordered it.

Intruders punch hole in Monet work

Intruders, apparently drunk, broke into the Orsay Museum through a back door early Sunday and punched a hole in a renowned work by Impressionist painter Claude Monet.A surveillance camera caught a group of four to five people entering the museum, which houses a major collection of Impressionist art on the Left Bank of the French capital along the Seine River. The intruders "tried to force other doors" before succeeding at a back door, "even though it had big bolts," she said, wondering aloud if the bolts might have been faulty. The painting hung on the ground floor with other Impressionist masterpieces. bore a horizontal tear about 4 inches in length that exposed threads of canvas. It looked to have been punched in with a fist.

opinion

a beautiful picture has been ruined because of 5 people been drunk and made a hole. police should arrest all the people and should make them pay for it. the artist would feel bad for it because it takes lot of time to draw it. this article made me mad. they should feel sorry for the paint and the painter.

Deputy fired 30 shots from rifle in killing 6, officials say

An off-duty sheriff's deputy used a police-style AR-15 rifle to kill six people at an early-morning party in a small Wisconsin town. Twenty-year-old sheriff's deputy Tyler Peterson fired about 30 shots inside the small apartment where a group of high school students and recent graduates were watching movies and eating pizza about 2:45 Sunday morning. A seventh person at the party was critically injured by gunfire in the apartment. The dead and wounded were all students or graduates of Crandon High School, and Peterson was a graduate of the school, which has a little more than 300 students.

opinion

it is tragedy. how can a sheriff kill students. that guy must have had drug or something. the ages of the victims were 14 to 20. it is more sad that graduate students have been killed. now i feel some weird feelings about homecoming. there is no safe place, even home is not a safe place.

Officials at the 21,000-student school said Bradford, a marketing major who lived on campus, was popular with the football team and on the campus as a whole.

opinion
the world is going crazy. now people kill thier footbal mates. this is insane. how can someone actucally kill their teammate. this will take serious problem to the community and the football team of course. i think they might had a fight or had bad feeling to each other and that might killed him. now you cant even trust your teammate.
