Summary - According to a cbsnews.com article, a man went into a store Saturday trying to get change for his one million dollar bill. After the cashier refused to accept his "money", the man became very angry. In his rage the man slammed an electronic funds-transfer machine into the counter. He then reached for a scanner gun. Police arrested the man and he is now being held in Allegheny County Jail. The man wasn't carrying any identification and he won't give out his name to the authorities.

Opinion - Wow. Um, yeah.. He's not very smart. :/ I have concluded that this man is either a complete idiot or just on crack (or any similar drug). Well.. it could also be both. He would have to be at least one of these two for him to actually go through this. I mean who would actually believe in such thing as a million dollar bill? If the man actually did this to make a scene then he sure accomplished that. If this isn't what he wanted to gain from this incident, then his actions were pretty pointless.

Summary - An article from cbsnews.com writes of a ten year old boy who took a school bus for a little ride. Around 11 p.m. on Friday night in Arkansas, school officials said that they had spotted lights coming form the bus yard. They then reported a school bus as stolen. The police began chasing the bus on rural highway. The bus headed north towards Little Rock, despite road blocks that were set up. The "chase" went at about 25 miles per hour but once the bus slowed down enough at one point, a sheriff's deputy was able to stop it. The driver ended up being a ten year old boy who was then arrested and returned to his parents. It wasn't known whether or not the child would face charges.

Opinion - Kids these days.. It seems like the age of kids who commit these crimes keeps getting lower and lower. I believe I read another article where a six year old tried to drive to a restaurant. Instead of making it there, he made it to about seventy feet and crashed into a transformer. I'm not sure why the kid who drove the school bus did this. He had to have known he would get caught. I think in both situations with the kids driving, the parents should just give them more supervision.

Summary - From an article on cnn.com, a man in Mexico City was arrested after police found several parts of the man's girlfriend throughout the house. This man Jose Luis Calva was an aspiring horror novelist and what police found besides pieces of Jose's girlfriend was also a rough draft of a novel entitled "Cannibalistic Instincts". Police came to Jose's apartment Monday to ask him some questions about the disappearance of his girlfriend Alejandra Galeana. When police arrived, Jose fled but was then hit by a car. Jose has been arrested and might be connected with the mutilation killings of two other women.

Opinion - Now that's scary with a capital PUNISHMENT. Well.. I guess since it's Mexico he won't be getting the death penalty, but he should. This story is a perfect example why Mexico should have the death penalty. There's no way Jose could talk himself out of this with all of the evidence the police have on him now. He obviously did it. When he ran from the police, Jose, in a way, completely admitted to doing the crime. My point is Jose Luis Calva should get the death penalty, but I guess he won't. The end.

Summary - A cbsnews.com article stated that a man was arrested in Japan for allegedly killing a woman who paid him to do it. The man Kazunari Saito ran an internet suicide website. It was through this site that Saito came into contact with the woman Sayaka Nishizawa. Saito gave Nishizawa sleeping pills. He then suffocated the woman. For doing this, Nishizawa paid him the equivalent of US $1,700. It's still unclear why the woman wanted to kill herself.

Opinion - This is very sad. Saito should not have been allowed to run the suicide website in the first place. The article said he also sold sleeping pills to ten other people through the website. Out of these people, the police know at least one of them has died. This is terrible. Instead of helping them die or be killed, Saito should at least try to help them live. Oi, news is depressing.
