Police: Pennsylvania boy planned 'Columbie' event at high school
A 14 year is taken into custody because of suspicion of planning a "Colombine" type event at a Pennsylvania high school. Police in Plymouth Township near Philadelphia took the boy into custody after a search of his home turned up a number of weapons and a 9 mm rifle with a laser scope and dozens of air guns. Police also found an operational hand grenade, three other hand grenades in the process of construction, bomb-making equipment and manuals. The boy's mother bought the assault rifle for him several weeks ago at a gun show. Officials said they think the tip was prompted by Wednesday's shooting at a school in Cleveland, Ohio.
opinion
This kid is crazy. His mother is also crazy. Why would a mother want to buy a rifle for her son? this is just lame. I think police should also put the mother in jail because children shouln't even own guns. I also think this kid should not even be allow to go to school because he sees school as a place of killing. This teenage deserves to be in jail for a very long time.
Analysis: How to say no the president?
It is apparent that if the case of Medellin v. Texas had come to the court without presidential involvement it would have been easy to decide on the case. The issue would have been solved already. Justice Samuel said the effect of the Bush Administration's defense of the presidential order that states obey a World court ruling would be that "Presidentail can take any treaty that is not self executing and make it binding under federal law." Justice Anthony also seemed confused wether the supreme court could inerpret the scope of a World court ruling if it were ambigious in any significant way. Kennedy also was concerned wether the president can "displace the authority" of the World Court. However "The President's role is critically important," stated the Solicitor General.
