Ryan Evans pt.1

National:
It turns out that the impotence drug, Viagra is possibly related to hearing loss. It was shown that at least twenty-nine cases have indicated a sudden loss of hearing with hours to two days of taking the drug. Results such as these were shown in the original testing of the drug, but the risk of hearing loss is corrolated with old age, like diabetes or heart disease. A new label will be placed on the canisters of drug. These labels will also be place on other impotency drugs like: Cialis, Levitra, and Reviato. This has all been ordained by the Food and Drug Administration. Nothing yet is for sure though says Dr. Robert Boucher. Nothing is ironclad yet but this problem cannot be ignored.

Opinion:
This is all a bit peculiar. I don't think it is wise to take any of these drugs. These alligations seem to validate it as well.I don't think it is quite healthy to stimulate your body via impotency drugs. If you can't do 'it' anymore let it go. There are far more important matters in life to deal with. Why run the risk of harming yourself? It just seems a bit ridiculous. My, what would Bob Dole say?

National:
In Detroit, Michigan two adults and two children were found dead Thursday. It was reported that the four were fatally shot while sleeping. The house they were found had been visited by police before because of firearms and narcotics complaints. It resided in a shady area of Detroit's city. The community is shocked and continues for help against violence in this notorious area. There were no signs of forced entry or any traces of a gun. The police are disgusted by this and are very tired of seeing all these children die. If the kids continue to die in these dire circumstances there will be no future left.

Opinion:
This is an obvious travesty. These areas of the country need to be cracked down upon by the police. I am not normally an advocate for the government dole but in these situations I think it might be necessary. However, it probably HAS been used but to no avail. Cities like Detroit need a more responsive and improved local government. The federal government cannot deal with these problems. They need to improve from the source, and that would indeed be local government.

Like Nancy Reagan said, "Just say no to drugs".

Tragic story in Detroit--the "shady area".
