More than half a million people have been ordered to evacuate parts of the US state of California being engulfed by massive wildfires. There are at least 16 fires being fanned by the fierce winds ranging from santa barbara to the mexican border. The fires have destroyed more than 1,200 homes and they have killed 2 people. President Bush is going to visit the state on Thursday to "witness the crisis first hand." Up to 300,000 acres have been scorched so far.
Wow this is quite scary it sort of suprises me that only two people have died so far. I hope that the fires dont spread to other states that would be awful. I think that it is quite funny that bush and the rest of the his government reacted so fast to this opposed to how fast they reacted to Katrina. That really shows you where our priorities are, in rich white people.
