International: Suspected female drug lord enthralls Mexico

A woman from Mexico was arrested, on suspicion of being basically the largest drug trafficker of cocaine to the United States. She arose though romances with several top drug lords in the country. Her son was recently kidnapped and held for 5 million dollar ransom. She contacted authorities, who were alarmed by the size of the ransom. This only added to their suspicions. She told the police she would handle negotiations herself, which she did, lowering the ransom to only 3 million. Later, police found over nine tonsof cocain traced back to her possession. After her arrest, Mexico has become obsessed wih her. They play songs about her, and her interrogation video on youtube has over 40.000 views.
Opinion: I can't wait for the movie.

International: Police recover stolen da vinci painting

"Madonna with the Yardwinder" was stolen four years ago while it was on display at a scottish castle by two men dressed like tourists. The paintin was thought to be a Da Vinci original, and was valued at $65 million. It's been on the FBI's most wanted list for stolen art. It doesn't say what happened to the thieves.
Opinoin: You would have to have a lot of guts to steal a 65 million dollar masterpiece in broad daylight, with the guard standing right there.
