Ryan Evans pt.2

International:
In Jakarta, Indonesia a crowded passenger boat was sunk of the east coast of the country. A transport official said that fifteen people were dead and at least six were missing. The wooden ship which was carrying around eighty-two people sank on late Thursday in the Southeast Sulawesi province in the far eastern part of the country. Fifteen were reported dead, six were missing, but the rest of the passengers have been rescued says Harijogi the director general of the sea transportation at the transport ministry in Indonesia.

Opinion:
I really do not know what else to say. This is an obvious tragedy and it is especially terrible to see calamities happen in countries such as this. However, it might be a plot by Islam radicals, who are frequent in that sector of the world, to continue to spread fear among the people. Probably not, just a theory. Nonetheless i do truly feel sorrow and pity for the victims of this shipwreck, no matter how redundant it might seem.

International:
Just in, a Canadien schoolteacher, who was targeted by an international manhunt, was just caught near Bangkok, Thailand. Christopher Paul Neil who was suspected of pedephilia was caught driving to Bangkok a few hours ago. He was apparently staying with a friend who set up meetings between Neil and young boys. The police were able to capture him on the road, but no further details have been released yet. Residents of Thailand had spotted Neil hear his friend's home who would set up sexual liasons with boys. A few boys, aged 9-13 have come forward regarding the alligations facing Neil. It was also reported that Neil had evaded authorities in South Korea and fled to Thailand as authorities began to close in on his identity. Didn't work did it?

Opinion:
Thank goodness. In my opinion, people such as this do not deserve to live. I also read that illicit pictures of him with the boys were posted on the internet. How disgusting. It must have been really awful if the hunt for him went international. I am very glad the Thai authorities caught him because he is dangerous. Pedaphiles inflict fear upon communities and disrupt the general public well-being. People like Christopher Neil need to be removed from the public and thrown away from society before they might hurt someone else.
