McCain wins!

Summary:McCain wins the republican ballot. Well its not official yet but the point status that he has, there is no way anyone can catch him. He has a total of 937 points so far. Romney droppes out and he was the only one close to McCain. With Romney it is a for sure thing that McCain is the republican nominee. Many people are excited bout this news, but there are some who have no idea if they wll be voting! The primaries should come to an end rght now for the republicans because McCain is the winner for sure!

Opinion: McCain is a good nominee but i still wish it was Guilliani instead. But since Guilliani is going for McCain he has persuaded me to vote for him. McCain s very liberal for a republican and it will be very interesting to see what he will do in office if he wins the presidency. I do believe that he is a great man and the lord will use him in many ways.


Obama v. Clinton

Summary: It is a neck and neck race between Obama and Clinton to be the democratic nominee. Obama has scored 1,361 points so far in the election and Clinton has scored 1,263 points. The primaries for the democrats could go all the way to june if the race continues to be this close. Obama just recently came ahead but Clinton is right behind him. For the Republican sake we want Clinton to be the Democratic nominee. If Obama wins it will be more like a race for the Presidency!

Opinion: I want Clinton to win the nomination but i honestly do not think this wil happen. I believe that Obama will win and that the republican party will really have to work hard in the election process. I believe that Obama will be a tough Candidate to defeat but i do think it is possible. Obama relates better to the younger portion of America (which is the future) better than any other candidate.


Size zero debate in London:

Summary: In London the size zero debate is taking place because most believe that these under weight girls affect the teenage community in a negative way. They beleive that this promotion of skinny is bautiful creates many teens and just women in general to have eating disorders. The fashion show organizers disagree. Many models are underweight and unhelathy (skinny wise). Most people want to see healthier models in the industry. Former models say that most models who are a size zero struggle with eating disorders.

Opinon: I bleieve this to be true. i know that as a woman a struggle with what is the prettiest figure, size etc. I do know many girls suffer form eating disorders because of the stress put on them by the media to be skinny. in hollywood for example the ideal thing is to be perfect and skinny but the reality is you are perfect just the way you are. God created you perfect in his eyes and i do know that that is hard t see sometimes.


Weird Valentines Day gifts in Japan:

Summary: In Japan Valentines day is a day that the girls buy the gifts for the men. In Japan this Valentines Day the hot item is bugs ma out of chocolate. People in Japan traveled hours to buy thes nasty looking choclates because verywhere else had sold out. In Japan the tradition is to buy something unique and unusual. Well bug choclates are definetly unusual. One guy was asked if he would want these chocolates and he said no. So they may be appealing to some there are still those who say no thanks.

Opinion: I believe that Valentines day is suppose to be a romantic holiday and bug chocolate is definetly not romantic at all. I also find it weird that the girls buy the gifts for the men on Valentines Day. I am amazed that those choclates were such big hit. If my Valentine gave me a bug chocoate i would be very uset. There is no way that a bug Chocolte should be given to anyone on Valentines Day or any day for that matter.
