National Summary:

Mitt Romney, former GOP presidential contender, just recently gave his support to Senator John McCain. Romney would acknowledge McCain's finer qualities and say that McCain "is capable of leading our country in a dangerous hour." He told his supporters and delegates at the Republican National Convention to support McCain. McCain said that they have disagreed on certain issues like illegal immigration but they always agreed on "core principles."

Opinion: I think it was weird to see that Romney was giving his support to McCain. I couldn't believe that Romney dropped out of the campaign. I guess it's ok that Romney gives his support and tries to help out McCain.

Summary:

Democratic presidential contender Hilary Clinton said that if elected president, she could save America $55 Billion a year. She said this can happen by canceling tax breaks and subsidies for oil companies, ending tax breaks for "companies that ship job overseas," eliminating no-bid contracts, and taking to other measures. Clinton's campain has unveiled what it calls her "shared prosperity for American families" plan.

Opinion:

I'm not really sure what to say about Hilary. She says that she could save America $55 Billion but I don't think it would've helped America at all. $55 Billion is a lot of money to save but I don't think it would've worked out. Honestly, I think America would still stay in debt from all of the tax breaks, subsidies, etc.

Short on opinion and summary.
