Boxing legend's sister found frozen to death
The 92-year-old sister of Joe Louis whom was a famous heavyweight boxer during the 1970s was found frozen to death outside her apartment at a retirement center. The her body, was found Monday outside The Heatherwood retirement complex in Southfield, she suffered from alzheimers disease. High, who spent 25 years as a teacher and counselor for Detroit Public Schools, was last seen on Sunday. When police found her she was found, she was dressed only in pajamas and was wearing one shoe, with the other lying nearby. It is stated that she died of hypothermia. An official at Swanson's Funeral Home in Detroit confirmed that High was Louis' sister.
Opinion
I think that this is very sad. It is weird that she died outside her apartment frozen to death. This is very weird because a person cannot just die outside frozen. It is just hard to believe that Louis' sister died that way. I think that police should investigate about this. But maybe it had to do that she had alzheimers disease.

Student with bright future charged in 2002 slaying
Nicholas Weaver was sitting in his college science class last week when suddenly he being led away from school in handcuffs, the unlikeliest of suspects in the killing of a fellow teen in Baltimore nearly six years ago.Weaver, a 22-year-old son of a respected Baltimore family, and Charles H. Davis, 21, are accused of shooting David Baskin Jr. on July 3, 2002, in what police say it was a fight over a girl. Defense attorneys insist that these accusations contradict the image Weaver built on his path to a degree at Adelphi University in Garden City on Long Island: intern at a Baltimore law firm last summer; a jury clerk for the circuit court in Baltimore in 2006.
A year earlier, he went to Uganda to work with children that were infected with HIV. Police did an interview with Davis, who admitted being present when Baskin was killed but said he was not involved. That interview led another witness to come forward, which helped detectives find enough information to charge the two young men last week. Weaver was arrested without incident Thursday morning after being taken out of class by a campus security officer. Authorities in Maryland say the killing was between rival groups of teenagers over a girl. A week before the killing, Weaver, whom was 16, and some friends went to Baskin's house "and beat him after he came to the door," which was stated in the court documents. Police say the group returned five days later and this time with a gun. Authorities say that before midnight on July 3, 2002, Weaver and some friends parked near the girl's house, very close to where Baskin, an aspiring rapper, was killed. Weaver and Davis got out of the car and were gone for about 15 minutes and Baskin, who turned 18 the day before, died of a gunshot wound to his back.
Opinion
Well its good that this teenage guy was finally caught and arrested and now he would get what he deserved. It is hard to believe that this good guy could have done something in the past i mean he looked like such a nice kid. But this just shows that whatever we might have done in the past it can haunt us down when we least expect it. This just shows that just because we think that people are good because what they do doesn't mean they haven't done nothing in the past.
