Summary- McCain refines plan for general election

John McCain, having all but tied up his nomination for president for the Republicans, has some changes to make to his plans. He is glad that Mitt Romney dropped out because Romney was one of his only real rivals. Now McCain can focus on garnering the support of the Republican party. Many conservatives think that he is phony, that he will be liberal in office, so he needs to get their support, because he knows without grassroots support from all Republicans, he will lose the election to the Democratic nominee.

Opinion-

This is the right thing to do for John McCain. He needs to unite the Republican party now while he still has a chance. I think that if Huckabee does not win at least two of the next five primaries then he should drop out as well. McCain has run a good campaign and now he has to follow it up and unite the party and get elected.

Summary- Obama leads Clinton by only 2 delegates

Barack Obama only leads Hillary Clinton by two delegates coming out of Super Tuesday. All states have not yet reported all of their results but he appears to have a slight lead. Clinton still leads by around 100 delegates in the overall race, but there is no clear winner yet, nor is there expected to be for some time yet. The race is heating up between these two and they could go into the convention not knowing who the nominee was.

Opinion-

I hope that these two have a knock-down, drag-out fight that leaves both of them exhuasted. It just makes for good television. Maybe Hillary will break down again, maybe that is the key she needs to push her over the edge. Maybe Barack needs to flash some fingahs and get the ghettos of all cities to come out. Whatever the case may be, it is a good race, and I think it will be the closest race since the Corrupt Bargin. (if you don't know, then look it up)...
