Bomb blast in Spain ahead of elections
A bomb has exploded at a political party office in northern Spain early Friday, causing damage but no injuries -- just 10 days ahead of national elections. Police rushed in to evacuate sleeping residents from their homes.
The blast, which occurred around 1 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), damaged various buildings. Last week Spain ordered its security forces to go on maximum alert ahead of March 9 general elections.

opinion
it is scary that bomb is blasting over the place. it is ok that no one was injured or dead. but still
they have to watch out for their selves. i hope this doesnt happen again.

Homeowner: 'It's very easy to outrun lava'
Lava from Kilauea, one of the world's most active volcanoes, destroyed three abandoned houses this week in a nearly deserted neighborhood. The U.S. Geological Survey's Hawaiian Volcano Observatory said a lava flow entered the Royal Gardens subdivision on Sunday, and two structures were burned by Tuesday. A third house in the area residents fled years ago had fallen victim to the volcano by Thursday.

opinion
I hope there will be no injured people. volcanos are very dangerous. especially when the lava floats you have to run. i hope the lava will stop and find some solution to fix the houses.

Hospital: 5 injured in explosion at Illinois shopping plaza
Mannequins, broken glass and debris littered the street Thursday after a midday explosion at a small strip mall that injured several people, collapsed roofs and left mounds of rubble in a Chicago, Illinois, suburb. Five people were taken to Vista Hospital. Desiree Rogers, president of North Shore Gas Co., said their crews were turning off the gas lines into the mall in Waukegan so firefighters can search the rubble for anyone who may be trapped and begin trying to determine the cause of the blast.

opinion
it is really sad that people are hurt from the explosion. i hope no one gets killed. there must have been a some problem or else there wouldnt be any explosion. government should look and find out why it exploded.
