The Search for Obama

SUMMARY
The producers at Saturday Night Live are looking for a new cast member that can impersonate Barrack Obama. So far they have not had any luck because of Obama’s slender figure and minimal flaws. They show only has one black actor currently, but he is so fat that he was asked to play the character Fat Albert. He has offered to loose 60 pounds, but the show seems like they are needing someone sooner than the time it will take to loose the weight. The show did have an Obama skit but for that one they were actually able to get the real Obama. So now the search is on for the imposter and will be made fun of soon on the show.

OPINION
Oh Obama, he is just so perfect that it is hard to find anything to criticize about him except his excessive use of hand gestures and big ears. He really has gotten on Hollywood’s good side. He is getting so much support from big celebrities and Oprah, but the sad thing is that they probably don’t even know what his stance on issues is; all they probably could tell you is that he wants “change”. Boo Obama, Go Huckabee!!!

Five is company

SUMMARY
A Russian couple went to a hospital in Oxford to give birth to quintuplets prematurely. Russian doctors did not think that the babies would have a chance to survive being born this early and even suggested that the couple abort some or all of the babies. After they went to Oxford and gave birth to all five babies they were finally able to be released from the hospital and go home after three months. The couple is only the sixth in the UK to give birth to so many babies at one time.

OPINION
Ouch, five at one time! I can hardly imagine giving birth to one. I am just really proud that this couple decided to give birth to five of the babies and did not give up hope; the story said that the family went with this decision because of religious purposes. I hope they are Christian because that would just go to show that God can work miracles and when he doctors think that there is no hope there will always be God to provide for our needs.

An Egoless Candidate

SUMMARY
Despite what most Americans may think, there is actually a presidential candidate that cares more about just getting to the white house and getting his face on our money and in our history books. Mike Huckabee is a genuine candidate who stands by what he believes in and cares about, and that is the American people. It is obvious that Huckabee does not have a good chance of actually winning the primary, but he sure has had a good run. There are maybe even some a suspicion that 2008 is no longer his focus, but now is looking forward to the 2012 election.

OPINION
This makes me happy, because Huckabee is a great and unselfish guy. He is someone always like hearing more from. He is so wise and waiting till 2012 sounds like a great idea because with age comes knowledge and since he will have done the entire process before. He will be able to devise a great strategy and not only be able to win over the Bible belt states but the whole country! Huckabee is such a man of integrity, I really hope I can meet him someday or go to one of his church sermons because I feel like I could learn so much from him and so could anybody else that would give him the time of day and forget about McCain and Obama.

Out of this World

SUMMARY
The satellite in space that no longer works is slowly making its way back to earth. A problem that scientists thought would not be that big of a deal once it reached earth has turned into a sticky situation. They thought that the satellite would be ok coming to earth especially if it landed in the Ocean, but after further research they realized there would be major problems if this happened because it would be poisoning the water and hurting the marine life. So now the navy has sent a ship out into the ocean that has three missals specially designed to blow up the satellite before it re4aches the earth’s atmosphere. If it does not work the first time they always have the two other missals.

OPINION
I have just found out that the attempt to blow up the satellite outside of Earth’s orbit was successful. We are very lucky that this was able to have such success because when you are dealing with things out of this world it is kind of hard to control them. But I’m glad I will finally be able to sleep tonight without having to worry about a satellite falling to earth in April and the possibility that it would be on my house.
