Primaries (Brooke Bellah)

Obama blames Bush for economy

Obama is blaming the Bush administration for what he says is a pending recession. He says the current administration has not done enough to help the lower and middle class, and too much for the wealthier percentage of Americans. He also attacked likely Presidential nominee John Mccain: "It was a failure of leadership in Washington — a Washington where George Bush hands out billions of tax cuts to the wealthiest few for eight long years, and John McCain promises to make those same tax cuts permanent, embracing the central principle of the Bush economic program.” Barack Hussein Obama would propose higher tax cuts for the poorer percentage of Americans. Currently, the wealthier are being taxed 35%. McCain, if elected, said he would lower this to 25% and allow tax breaks for equipment and technological advancement. In response to Barack's attack, Bush has said that no further business incentives are needed to boost economy, only that those already in place should be given a chance to work.

Once again, Barack is pointing fingers at the Bush administration for the slowed growth of the economy, and blames him for favoring the wealthier percent of America. It does say something though when the wealthiest 1% of our nation pays half of the taxes. I say we should encourage business not create a fine for it. Leave the President alone Hussein...he has more experience then you.

It's Congressional spending over the last 20 years and their lack of fisical responsibility.
