Woman Attacked With Sword in Argument Over Puppy

From: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,296567,00.html

Summary: Police officers arrested 26-year-old Ashunti Taylor after an 18-year-old woman went to Bloomington Hospital's emergency room for treatment of an 8- to 9-inch cut on her buttocks Monday night. The woman told officers she was at Taylor's home to see the puppy, when Taylor became confrontational and began to complain about items that the puppy had chewed. Police say that when the woman threatened to leave with the puppy, Taylor struck her with the black-handled “samurai-style sword.” Taylor remains in the Monroe County Jail. The puppy wasn't injured.

Opinion: What is the deal with these random attacks? I mean seriously a “samurai-style sword”? Was the attacker not able to find his bazooka gun? Also, why did Ashunti Taylor hit the women in the butt; if I was actually trying to hurt someone that’s not where I would have struck? So my opinion is that this was an act of pure stupidity.

Another Woman Claims Southwest Airlines Forced Her to Cover Up on Flight

From: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,296681,00.html

Summary: A second young woman has come forward to claim that Southwest Airlines Co. employees made her cover up on a recent flight. Last week, 23-year-old Kyla Ebbert said a Southwest employee pulled her aside as she was preparing to board a plane departing San Diego for Tucson in July and told her she was dressed too provocatively to fly on the plane. She also reported that he felt embarrassed and looked down upon.

Opinion: So… if you are asked to dress more appropriately, then isn’t it clear to you that you should. She reported that she was embarrassed after the incident, but what about the flight attendant who had to confront her? I would have hated to be that person. I don’t know if Ebbert is trying to press charges against Southwest Airlines, but they have reserved the right to refuse service to anyone. I think that the flight attendant might have been being really nice and tried to get her to fix her clothing before she was seen by some sort of authority and would not be allowed on a plane.

All this over a dog??????????

Some of the dress in question was not a problem. Southwest needs to get a life and stop being the fashion police unless things are falling out!!!
