***NATIONAL***
1a)Today the Pentagon released a censored audiotapee of Khalid Mohammed. Khalid is one of the remaining suspects from the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and referred to as the "masterind." On the censored tape was 40 minutes of Mohammed planning the kidnapping of U.S. journalist, Daniel Pearl. This part of the tape lasted 10 minutes, and was edited and exclude in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
1b)To me it seems like there is enough proof to put him away [forever]! He didnt deny the recording when asked about it. Instead, he said he felt bad that 3,000 Americans were killed. If Saddam Hussein was put to death for all of the troubles he's caused Americans and our Country, the Khalid Mohammed should have the same punishment. 9/11 is one of the most memorable events that has occured in the U.S., and we dont remeber it because it makes us smile, but because it was a painful point in time that Americans as a whole shared.


2a)Googles having a contest: the first company to land robotic rover on the moonand beam images to earth get $30M!!!!!!!
2b)Hmm...I could so be in this competition. Im pretty positive that China is going to win the $30M. Their probably working on something as I type my blog.lol. I mean what are the chances of the U.S. getting something done the right way? We can barely build a bridge...Google calls it Moon 2.0. The prize will go to the first private company that can land a robotic rover on the moon and beam back a gigabyte of pictures and video to Earth.




***INTERNATIONAL***
1a)A lost aircraft.Two people went flying one day and never returned. their names were William Westover, and Marcy Randolph. The plane has been missing since September 24, 2006. The departed from the Deer Valley airport and never returned.
1b)Im sorry to say this but...those people are possibly dead. They've been missing for almost a year and so has the aircraft. they probably crashed into the ocean, depending on which way they were goin.

2a)On June 28, 2007, Greg Oden was selected first overall in the NBA Drafts by the Portland Trailblazers. The season has not yet started, and when it does, Oden wont be. Due to leg injuries, Greg Oden will have to sit the entire first season out.
2b)WOW, what a rip off!!!!!! Greg Oden was being watched by every team in the NBA, and I guess the pressure got to him. The leg injuries that Oden has are severe, so he will have to go through rehabilitation, and sit this year out. Hopefully this will give him some time to think about what hes going to do with all of that MONEY!!! KA~CHING!
