Summary:

In Auckland, New Zealand police issued a murder and kidnapping warrant Thursday for the father of a 3-year-old girl found abandoned in Australia. Not only did this man abandon her little girl but he killed her mother as well. She was found stuffed in the trunk of a car in New Zealand. The man Xue Naiyin, a Chinese-language magazine publisher, fled with his daughter, Qian or “Pumpkin”, and her mother. The mother was found in the trunk dead, had being violently killed and tormented. Xue was caught on security camera leaving Qian at a train station as he than left for Los Angeles. The police have the warrant for this mans arrest and have the help and support of many to continue this search.

Opinion:

I think that this is very unfortunate. This poor girl has now no home no nothing because of her father. He has not only left her, but has taken it on himself to tear Qian and her mother apart permanently. It is my hope and prayer that we do find this man and arrest him giving him no mercy. I am not quite sure of the whole story of why he did this other than out of his own selfishness and entertainment. I do give my regards to the family and Qian and hope to see and hear of the arrest and punishment of Xia.

Summary:

A motorist who collided with a sheriff's deputy on a motorcycle in West Hollywood fled the scene Sunday, a Los Angeles police officer said. The accident on Sunset Boulevard at Doheny Drive occurred about 1:15 a.m., said Sgt. Dan Dyer of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's West Hollywood Station. The deputy suffered an injury to a knee and was taken to a hospital, Dyer said. A description of the suspect vehicle was unavailable.

Opinion:

I think it is so unfortunate about this hit and runs. Hit and runs are so common and so dangerous. They are the cause of so many destructions and so many accidents. It makes this situation even worse because it was with the sheriff. I think that people need to stop being so stupid and man up. If you hit someone congratulations you made an accident, but don’t run and make yourself look eve weaker and dumber. It’s not worth it to run. Stand up and take the consequences.

Summary:

In Willemstad, Curacao five welders who were repairing a ship were killed in an explosion Thursday that apparently was triggered when they ignited oxygen fumes. Firefighters said they were still battling the blaze hours after the explosion rocked the Curacao Drydock Co. on the Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao. The welders had been cutting the ship's hull to retrieve a motor, said Farley Hernandez, general manager of the dry dock. The explosion happened when the welders hit some oxygen. The five victims were all from Curacao.

Opinion:

These accidents are so scary and I hate to hear about them. They end up scaring me. Little things like this can happen all the time and it’s so scary to think that a crazy accident like this could happen to you at any point. My heart goes out to these Welders and their families. I would hope that these Welders were in the following of Jesus Christ, and I pray for the families of the lost and all they have to endure. It is very unfortunate and very devastating.

Summary:

This past Tuesday and police officer was shot and killed in Phoenix at 24th street and Thomas. He was simply trying to stop 3 illegal Mexicans from J-walking. When realizing that they had the warrant for one of the men’s arrest the Mexican pulled out a gun and shot the officer and killed him. The suspect then car jacked a car and started a police chase where they caught him and shot him. So in the end two men died, one hero gone.

Opinion:

This is something that really touched my heart just because this happened literally one block away from my house. I drove by the scene this morning and there were officer showing reverence and it just touched me so deeply. It scared me to though. It was so close and it all was real and someone was killed right outside my house. This officer is and forever will be a hero in my eyes. The suspect deserved his death, especially since they had the warrant for his arrest anyway. He was not an innocent man that made a horrible mistake. The officer’s family and fellow officers are in my thoughts and prayers and wish them the best.

Sick father--if you can call him that.

Sad anytime a police officer is killed.
