ChRiS ( I think it's safe to say you're all "wack" :/ with all your "phat beats" and etc. etc. )

National

Summary - A cbsnews.com article says that a man was arrested after attacking his wife with an onion. The site that this article obtained its info said the "attack" took place on Wednesday. The husband, James Izzolena, was apparently drunk while at home. The husband and wife came to a disagreement that day and during the argument, James threw an onion at his wife. The onion then hit her in the back of the head. The wife told the police the onion made her head hurt.

Opinion - Yeah, I can imagine it would hurt. I'm sure she had to have shed a tear or two.. Anyhow, this situation reminds me of the "Cheetos" incident with the father and son, which took place a week or two ago. Are we seeing a copy-cat? Maybe.. I just hope things like these don't keep going on or, eventually, someone's going to be bludgeoned to death by a vegetable..

International

Summary - An article from cbsnews.com says that a Belgium man tried to sell Belgium on eBay. The reason behind this was that the man, named Six, was disgruntled at the situation between the Flemish and Walloon politicians. He was upset with what was going on and decided to try the ad in hopes of attracting people's attention. In the eBay ad, Six offered "Free Delivery", said the country would come second hand, and also mentioned that the potential buyer would have to take on the over $300 billion national debt. EBay allowed the ad to be placed, and the PR Manager of eBay Belgium thought it rather funny.

Opinion - I would have to agree with that PR Manager. The ad sounds quite humorous. With all of the ridiculous things being sold on eBay, I hadn't expected a country to be on there. Of course, the ad isn't meant to be serious but it would still be crazy to be looking up items on that site and see your own country being sold. It's unfortunate the ad had to be taken down. Apparently, someone made a bid of $14 million. That is what I find the most comical of it all.
