Pope honors Jewish Holocaust victims
The German born pontiff joined Vienna's chief rabbi, Paul Chaim Eisenberg, in quite prayer before an austere stone memorial honoring the 65000 Viennese Jews who perished in the Nazi camps after refusing to convert. Benedict made his seventh foreighn trip in two years as a pope, talked about his affection for the mostly cathlic country. Several hundred pilgrims cheered and sang the song "O Happy Day" at an opening ceremonyon Vienna's lavish Am Hof square. More thatn 3500 police officers and soldiers and 50 aircraft deployed to protect him.
Opinion
I think this is very good that the people took their time to make a memorial day in honor of the jewish who died in the nazi camps. I like this idea and I also like the idea that they even sang songs in memory of them. I am surprised that many people went to this memorial event.

US military joins search for Felix's victims
Honduran and Nicaraguan soldiers searched through the jungle beaches and open sea for survivors from the hurricane Felix. Dozens of bodies were recovered along the Miskito coastline that stretches across the NicaraguaHonduras border, many were floating in the seas.Felix damaged about 8000 houses and around 1800 Nicaraguans are now living in shelters. 13 bloated bodies had been laid out on black tarps after being pulled out of the sea. Another 32 people were still missing after their village was destroyed . The sea was filled with debris which made it impossible for rescuers to rescue people out of the water. the Nicaraguan government says that it would need about 30 million to rebuild all the damages.
opinion
I feel bad for all these people that are now living in shelters but the good thing is that the government is sending alot of help. Hopefully the government would be able to get the money in order to restore all this damage that the hurricane has caused. It is bad that even the shelters where these people are living don't even have enough clean water and food to feed these people and the only water these people can drink from is from the coconuts.

Bush: Bin Laden's video underscores threats
In a 30 minute speech done by bin laden boasts about the big impact of the 2001 attacks and it mocks the democratic system of government in the United States and lambastes the Bush administration for intiating the war in Iraq. The video was realeased couple of days earlier of the 6th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The al-Qaida people want the US soldiers out of Iraq because they to develop a safe haven and the reason they want this is to launch more attacks against America.BIn laden urges the US to embrace Islam if they want the war in Iraq to end.
Opinion
This just bad because this means that Bin Laden is still alive and maybe he is thinking of launching another attack against America. This just shows all of us of the kind of dangerous we live in. I do believe and hope that Bush do something about this especially since they received this tape a couple of days before the 6th anniversary of 9/11 attacks. I do hope and pray to God that all of this ends soon.

Always good to look back and remind us of the atrocities of the Nazis.

I hope that N. Korea is telling the truth. It's hard to believe Kim Jung Il.
