Summary-- This week the honorable Mr. Hugo Chavez will not be attending the UN meeting. He says he cannot make it due to his booked schedule at home. Chavez spoke with Akie and commended him on his speech. Chavez and the Iraianians are good allies due to their severe anomosity toward the US. Akie will be visiting Venezula this week while on his way home to Iran.

Opinion-- Well at least Akie had the guts to come over here and say his piece. Chavez wont even show his face in the UN, instead he is sending his foregin minister. I think Chavez does not have the ability to skirt around and not answer questions like Akie does. And who'd have thought that Iran and Venezula are allies.... duh

Summary-- 170 Afghan insurgents have been killed in three days of fighting. The fighting was contained relitavely to the south of the country. Two Danish soldiers were killed and one was wounded when their temp base was attacked. One US sailor was also killed in the south. On tuesday 104 insurgents were killed in Musa Qula.

Opinion-- Wow look were doing our job. It looks like these insurgents finally put up an honest fight. And they lost. 170 Afghans dead with the loss of only three colation soldiers. As bad as that sounds id say it was a good trade off. With these 170 dead thats just that many less to fight back at a later date. YAY for the colation!!!

Summary-- two twenty something year olds are in crtical comdition at Boston Medical Center today after being pulled out of the river. Witnesses say that the couple got into a jeep and just drove off the pier. They also say that the girl in the front seat was trying to kick the windshield out as the vechile began to sink. The couple was in the water almost 30 minutes before divers were on scene to pull them out.

Opinion-- Could Doc and the DeLorean be for real? could this young mans name be Ted? Im not sure. But honestly who drives straight off a pier. Its not like they were swerving or anything, they just drove off. Maybe suicide, maybe alcohol, maybe even drugs... Who knows at this point.

NATIONAL #2

Summary-- A man in Oregon fights a case agains the Patroit Act. This man was accused of being linked to the Madrid train bombings in 2004. The FBI surveyed him and his property. The circuit court ruled that 2 of the provisions of the Patroit Act were unconstitunal, being as they were contridictions of the 4th ammendment. The govt appologized and gave the accused 2 million dollars, but he still wanted to take down the act.

Opinion-- Only in the Democratic Republic of Oregon. This guy was wrongly accused, he got paid for his troubles, alot of payment. But he still wanted more. I think this guy just saw this as a hole that he could exploit to hurt the Bush administration. Its like you get a cookie , but i want milk too. he gets payment but still thinks he needs to get his licks in agains this terrible terrible tryant that has been ruining our country for 7 years.. Give me a break! Oregonians!
