Russia tests 'dad of all bombs'

Summary: Russia claims the bomb has the world's most powerful non-nuclear air-delivered bomb. The test was the latest show of Russia's military muscle amid chilly relations with the United States. A deputy chief of the Russian military's General Staff said this dad of all bombs, unlike a nuclear weapon, doesn't hurt the environment. The Russian weapon's blast radius is 990 feet, twice as big as that of the U.S. design.

Opinion: Russia used to be the nation that could stand against US. However, now Russia is not that of a strong nation because of its political changes and other changes. They are still try to make military weapons and that scares me because if Russia tries to gain their glory back, it will end up being a war, a big war, and the world would be in chaos. I do not want to see that happening.

Pakistan blast hits army unit, leaves 15 dead

Summary: Fifteen soldiers from a Pakistani army unit died in a bombing at their mess hall. Two security officials reported the attack was the work of a suicide bomber. A wave of bombings that followed the Red Mosque siege left dozens dead.

Opinion: Whatever the reason is, it cannot be a reason of killing and terrerizing others. I could see that the people in Pakistan got mad at the siege of their action but it cannot be the reason of terror. God does not want suicide and terror,

Online sleuths use Google to search for Fossett

Summary: Fossett, 63, a former commodities trader who was the first to circle the globe solo in a balloon, was last heard from September 3 after taking off from a private airstrip about 80 miles southeast of Reno. Authorities believe he was carrying only one bottle of water. Driven by Fossett's fame and Google search technology that enables couch potatoes to view from their computers high-resolution photographs of the rugged Nevada landscape where he went missing

Opinion: It is just a aviator missing. Even though he was rich, I don't think all the society has to worry and care about it. It sure is sad to loose a active, challenging, and hard working guy, but all the rest of the society looking for him is a waste of time and it is not fare to the other aviators not as rich as Fossett. My point is that society should not treat rich people better than poor.

'Oprah' travel blocked for wife who killed preacher

Summary: The woman who killed her minister husband with a shotgun and is battling her in-laws for custody of her children, cannot appear live on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," She had been asked to appear on Winfrey's live show to discuss "Battered Women's Syndrome" Winkler, 33, shot Matthew Winkler in the parsonage of Fourth Street Church of Christ in Selmer on March 22, 2006, after what she described as an abusive marriage.

Opinion: What a hellerious, psychotic, crazy woman. The abusive marriage made her to kill her husband and now she is trying to show off what she did on the famous TV show. She is also seeking custody of her three daughters. The court should never let that happen because the children's life will be in chaos and horror when they go back to that woman. However, I believe if she was suffering through her marriage, she should have got divorced.

Oprah and guns don't mix.
