Summary: In Cairo, Eygpt, analysts have said that Osama bin Laden has planned a video to be released for the 6th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. The new images of Bin Laden would be the first since 3 years ago. In his announcement video, his physical appearance was completely different. Opinion: I think that the video bin Laden plans on sending Sept. 11th is a little scary. I think i'm a little scared on what he's going to do or say. He hasn't sent any videos since March of 2004. Why does he have to send a video by this Sept.11th on the 6th anniversary of 9/11? The whole dyed beard look doesn't make him look any better. He still looks like crap and always will!

Summary: In Berlin, Germany, German authorities were searching for 10 suspected supporters of an Islamic group. The group linked to al-Qaida were believed to have some assisstance with 3 militants arrested for plotting attacks against Americans in Germany. 3 of the suspects had many style detonators and had enough material to make bombs. Monika Harms, a German Federal Prosecutor, said at a news conference, "We were able to succeed in recognizing and preventing the most serious and massive bombings." Opinion: In seeing on how this Islamic group planned to kill the group of Americans, it really frightens me. I don't know why people in Germany don't like Americans. What did we do? Especially the stuff they plotted to kill the Americans with are disturbing. They had style detonators and material to make bombs. I'm not really sure know if it's safe to travel to Germany at all now!

Summary: In Tuscon, Arizona, Galareka Harrison, stabbed her roomate numerous times. Mia Henderson and Galareka Harrison were dorm roomates at University of Arizona. Henderson filed a police report and was accused of stealing from Henderson. After Harrison was accused of stealing and was extremely upset, she bought a knife, went into their dorm, and stabbed Henderson while she was sleeping. Students from next door called the police when they heard screams around 6:00 a.m. and the police found both woman injured on the floor. Both were rushed to the hospital and Henderson was pronounced dead and Harrison was not seriously hurt. Harrison is in jail in lieu of $50,000 bail in Wednesday's stabbing. Opinion: I think it's sad to hear about this girl being killed from her doormate. Her doormate was stealing from her and she killed her for filing a police report. The students just started school about 3 weeks ago and already this doormate was stealing from her. Stories like these make me not want to dorm at all at a university. That's why I'm going to dorm with my best friend from school.

Summary: In Farmington, Maine, a 65 year old woman was declined to buy wine in a supermarket because she didn't have her ID with her to prove her age. The 65 year old woman, Barbara Skapa, normally carries her ID with her but with a cast on her leg, her friend drove her to the store for several items including wine. When she went to purchase the items along with her wine, the cashier asked for ID and while Barbara didn't have it. She told the cashier that no one could mistaken her for being 30 or even 45 years old. The cashier didn't allow her to purchase the wine so she asked her friend to buy it for her but the cashier said no because it would be considered "third party" purchasing. Opinion: It is so dumb that the cashier didn't let the woman purchase the wine. She was 65 years old and the cashier could'nt see that?! I understand that if someone looks under 45 you should card them but when a 65 year old comes by, you let them buy the alcohol. She must have looked a whole lot younger than 45 to not let her buy the wine. When someone her age looks 65 and they didn't bring their ID, you let them buy the wine!!!
